Down To Earth Fundraising with Heirloom Tomatoes

An exciting fundraising platform for your organization that we can work together on to ensure it is a great success.

  • Your organization will raise $1.00 per plant.
  • You and your donors will be supporting local farming and bio diversity.
  • All prices include tax.
  • Prices are $2.50 per plant. Collections, which are our choice, have 5 plants for $10.00.
  • Print the order form [PDF] and the descriptions back to back. And distribute to your donors.
  • Orders need to be received by March 20th.
  • Orders will be dated and filled in chronological order. Some substitutions may occur in event of a sell out. Plants will be substituted with a similar type of plant.
  • Delivery of all plants, to your organization, will be in the last two weeks of May. The plants will be hardened off and ready to plant the May long weekend, weather permitting. Please note we wait and plant June 1st.
  • Plants may be picked by the organization or individuals at the farm by pre-arrangement 613-548-4331.

Ordering Plants

  • To receive orders, print the first two sheets [PDF] front to back.
  • Distribute the sheets with in your community.
  • Collect the order sheets with payment by March 20th.
  • Indicate date to be picked up or delivered.
  • Old Farm will be paid on the date of delivery.
  • From each plant sold your organization receives $1.00.

Plant Sale

  • Book the date by March 10th.
  • The plants will be delivered the day before or the morning of the plant sale. Dates in May till the first week in June are suggested for optimal sales. The plants will be a majority of heirloom tomatoes, plus cross section of other heirloom vegetables we carry (see the descriptions in the "Collections on the order form [PDF]).
  • Old Farm will not be present during the sale. Descriptions and providence of all plants is printed on the containers.
  • All plants at the sale are priced at $2.50.
  • Your organization keeps $1.00 per plant.
  • Accounting is done with a before and after count.
  • Old Farm will pick up the unsold plants.
  • Note: Deliveries will only be made within a hundred kilometer radius of Kingston.
