
Nancy George is an experienced chef having run her own restaurant in Victoria B.C. for seven years. While living in B.C. she apprenticed at the award-winning Marina Seafood Restaurant in Victoria, and cooked at the British Columbia Legislature.
After relocating to Ontario eight years ago, Nancy and husband Steve France set down roots at Old Farm, a property that has operated as a farm since 1862. Under their tenure Old Farm now produces 400 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, as well as honey, herbs and other vegetables.
Food is at its best when it is treated simply and with respect which is why Old Farm supports local farmers and organic farming principles. When you start with pure ingredients, every meal is a feast.
